This policy explains what personal data Job Resiliens collects, why, how it's used, who it's shared with, and the rights you have over it. It's written to be genuinely readable, not just legally defensible — if anything here is unclear, contact us using the details at the bottom.
Job Resiliens is operated by STV Solvthruvdo Information Services Private Limited, a company registered in India ("we," "us," "our"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
We do not currently collect payment card details ourselves. If we introduce paid checkout in the future, card details will be handled directly by a licensed payment processor and never stored on our servers.
To generate your score and personalized recommendations, build your learning charter and schedule, match you to safer roles, and let you build and export a resume. Free-tier accounts may also see non-personalized ads to help keep the free tier free (see Section 8). We do not use your personal data to target or personalize ads, and we do not sell it to anyone.
Some product features use AI providers to generate text or extract structured information. Where a feature only needs category-level signals (for example a skill category label), we prefer sending those signals rather than your full resume or identity.
Optional AI-powered resume processing: if you choose AI-powered resume processing, the resume file you upload is sent to Google Gemini so we can extract and structure work history, education, skills, and related details for your profile. This path is optional. Private processing keeps resume extraction within Career Navigator and does not send your resume to Gemini. Before any Gemini resume request, we ask for your explicit consent and record it with a consent-text version and timestamp. We delete the temporary copy of your resume from Gemini’s file storage when that processing run finishes; Google handles the file under its own terms while the request runs. See also the Gemini API Terms and Google Privacy Policy.
Other AI features (for example narratives or matching assistance) may use additional AI providers configured for the service. We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else outside of running the service itself. Free-tier accounts may see ads from a third-party ad network (Section 8) — these are always requested non-personalized, meaning the network never receives your identity, profile, or activity on Job Resiliens, only the minimum technical data (e.g. IP address) any web request unavoidably includes to deliver and bill the ad.
We maintain a separate, anonymized dataset of career/skill trends (e.g. which skills correlate with which roles) used to improve our scoring models. This dataset has no link back to your account or identity — it survives even if you delete your account, because it was never traceable to you in the first place.
Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you're using Job Resiliens from India, the EU/UK, or elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We take reasonable steps to keep this data secure in transit and at rest regardless of where it's processed.
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Free-tier accounts may also see ads — some shown directly by us, and some, if you agree when asked, delivered by a third-party ad network such as Google AdSense. Every network ad is requested as non-personalized: we don't send the network your identity, profile, or activity on Job Resiliens, and it does not build an advertising profile from your use of this site. If you decline, you'll only ever see ads we show directly ourselves. Paid/Pro accounts never see ads, on any placement, and ads never appear on sensitive flows like the layoff self-report.
On the app (jobresiliens.com), we also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and usage. It stays in a non-tracking, no-storage mode by default and only switches on once you accept when asked, using the same choice as the ad banner above. On our standalone informational articles (the /ai-risk/ pages), Google Analytics runs without that prompt, since those pages don't sign you in or process any account data — it's limited to anonymous traffic/usage stats.
For as long as your account is active, plus a short window after any deletion request while it's processed. Deleting your account permanently removes your resume, profile, and history from our systems (see Section 10).
Regardless of where you're located, you can:
Job Resiliens is intended for working-age adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) throughout, hash passwords, rate-limit login attempts, and restrict internal access to user data to authorized staff only. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your resume and career data as sensitive and design accordingly.
If we make a material change, we'll ask you to review and re-consent the next time you sign in, rather than silently updating the terms underneath you.
