The Innovation Graph
People ↔ Skills ↔ Problems ↔ Ideas ↔ Projects ↔ Contributions ↔ Evidence ↔ Outcomes
Entry paths
- I have an idea — capture, validate with evidence, shape on canvas, build.
- I want to build — browse discovery feed and open opportunities.
- I have skills — see projects and roles that overlap your capability tags.
- I have a problem — frame it and find people who can help solve it.
- I need people — team builder matches collaborators on capability and interest, not swipe decks.
Claimed vs demonstrated
Profile skills and hypotheses are claimed capability — useful for discovery, never treated as proof. The Build Record logs evidence by type:
- Demonstrated — facts, sources, customer signals tied to a stage.
- Claimed — hypotheses and AI inferences (explicitly labeled).
We never upgrade claimed data to demonstrated without a user-added source or signal. Matching scores show overlap — not invented confidence.
Failed projects still count
Killing or archiving an idea does not erase evidence, diary entries, milestones, or team contributions. Legitimate learning stays on the Build Record for future projects and collaborator trust.
Idea validation
Seven stages (Discover → Grow) gate progression on evidence where it matters. Crux-only sharing lets you validate interest before exposing full detail. Open Arena is the public discovery layer for crux posts.
