Innovations Arena

Idea validation

Pressure-test the problem, the user, and the next experiment — before you invest months of build time.

The problem this solves

Most early ideas fail because founders build first and learn later. Validation on Innovations Arena is a guided path: frame the problem, name target users, list alternatives, and attach evidence to each stage of the Build Record.

How validation works in the Arena

  1. Discover & Define — capture the idea, problem statement, and who hurts today.
  2. Research — alternatives, constraints, and what you still do not know.
  3. Validate — interviews, waitlists, concierge tests, or other cheap experiments logged as evidence.
  4. Decide — kill, pivot, or proceed to Build with a clear assumption that survived.

What counts as evidence

Notes from real conversations, signed-up users, prototype feedback, and failed experiments belong in the diary. Claimed traction without sources stays labeled as claimed — not demonstrated.
